Ms. Saez was appointed by Mayor Gavin Newsom to the position of Director of Island Operations for Treasure and Yerba Buena Islands in August of 2006 after previously serving as Director of Real Estate for the Port of San Francisco. Her professional experience also includes time as the Director of the Chester, Pennsylvania Housing Authority while it was under receivership, owning a small business specializing in property management and development, and serving as Vice President of the Washington D.C. Board of Education.
