The Treasure Island Development Authority (TIDA) is a non-profit, public benefit agency dedicated to the economic redevelopment of former Naval Station Treasure Island. The Authority is vested with the powers of a California Redevelopment Agency as well as the rights to administer Tidelands Trust property. TIDA also performs and administers vital municipal services for the residential and daytime population during the interim reuse of the former military base.
Treasure Island Development Authority Board of Directors
The Authority's governing body is the 7 member Treasure Island Development Authority Board of Directors. Appointed by the Mayor, with certain appointments approved by the City and County of San Francisco’s Board of Supervisors, the TIDA Board of Directors meets regularly to oversee both the interim reuse of the Islands as well as the master development planning process.

Treasure Island Yerba Buena Island Citizen Advisory Board
The Treasure Island/Yerba Buena Island Citizen's Advisory Board (CAB) provides additional as-requested expertise to the TIDA Board. The TIDA Board may refer to the CAB from time to time to provide recommendations to the Authority concerning the transfer and redevelopment of Treasure and Yerba Buena Islands.

Treasure Island Project Office Staff
The Treasure Island Development Authority is staffed by the San Francisco City Administrator's Office, with day-to-day redevelopment planning led by the City’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development.
